Over 25 years in the creative industry, as writer in a creative team and the last 10 years as ECD at TBWA\MCR. 

Ever since the Smash Martians graced the telly I was smitten. Not just with tasty reconstituted potato, but with the idea of ideas selling stuff. Granted I was only 4 or 5 at the time, but those laughing robots became a long-term memory for me. I love nothing more than helping my team grow ideas from scribbles on a 'pad' to real life campaigns, that make a difference to the people we work with and the most importantly, the people watching, reading, scrolling or swiping. To this day, I have yet to write or find a brand strapline that beats that telling your audience to 'get smash(ed)' .
