Skip’s “Shoulda Skipped It” campaign starring Seth Rogen and directed by Evan Goldberg takes a hilariously self-aware look at convenience. The long-form film, “Writers Room,” features the duo struggling to write compelling movie plots- only for Skip’s effortless delivery to ruin every ounce of drama. From failed mafia schemes to undiscovered boxers, every story collapses because life is simply too convenient with Skip. Drawing on Rogen and Goldberg’s signature comedic tone from The Studio, the campaign brings Skip’s platform “Skip to the Good Part” to life by showing that when you can get anything you crave instantly, there’s no story left to tell. Rolling out nationally across TV, OOH, online video, and social, it became Skip’s largest campaign to date, celebrating the brand’s Canadian roots and showing that sometimes, the best drama is the one you skip.
