Colin Selikow is Chief Creative Officer of DDB Chicago. He joined the agency in 2017 and most recently served as Executive Creative Director. Before DDB, Colin spent 14 years at Leo Burnett Chicago where he was SVP, Creative Director. From Samsung to Coors Light to McDonalds and Wrigley Mars (Skittles, Starburst, and TWIX), Colin has led several global brands across diverse markets to create integrated, targeted, and effective work that has been recognized by over 300 international awards including Cannes, D&AD, Effies, The ANDYs, One Show and The Art Director's Club. In recent years, Colin developed and managed large teams of multi-disciplinary creatives and agency partners. Bringing together diverse skillsets and thinking to create consistent and purposeful brand platforms for a wide range of products and clients. His efforts have consistently driven new business growth as well as organic growth from existing clients. During his time at DDB, Colin has been behind some of the agencies most iconic work. Including putting on a real Broadway musical for Skittles, creating a Superbowl ad and showing it to one person, apologizing individually to every single 130,880 angry Skittles Lime fan, made a beer ad appear in people's dreams, and created billboards no one could see. Colin's consistent track record of award-winning, brand-building success was recognized when he was ranked number one Executive Creative Director in the world by The One Club in 2023 and made the Top 10 list of Executive Creative Director's at the 2023 D&AD Awards. He was also ranked the #1 Most Awarded Executive Director in the world in The Drum's 2019 Rankings. A South African native, Colin worked in London and New York before finding both of those not quite frigid enough and moving to Chicago. He is married with two boys and a dog with anger issues.
